Frequently Asked Questions
To get you a quick, accurate estimate, please have the following ready:
- Service address (complete address with city, ZIP, and any unit/space number)
- Your name and the best phone number/email to reach you - What you’d like cleaned and the scope (e.g., whole home, a single wall, front of building, awning, patio/pool surround, fence, gutters and downspouts)
- Material/details that affect cleaning (stucco vs. metal siding, number of stories, metal roof, gutter guards, backyard/pool areas, etc.)
- Photos of the areas to be cleaned: clear overall shots plus close‑ups, especially spots not visible on Google Maps/Street View (backyard, side yard, awnings, roof, fence)
- Any measurements if you have them (approx. square footage, linear feet of gutters, etc.)
- Access notes (gate codes, parking/clearance, water source/hose bib availability, pets) and, for commercial jobs, your business name
- Timing preferences or deadlines
How it works: We’ll first review your address in Google Maps/Google Earth and the photos. If we can price it remotely, we’ll send you a text or email with a link to your estimate (often on the same day). If not, we’ll schedule a free on‑site inspection and then send the quote.
We’re based in Mountain View and primarily service the South Bay and nearby cities (San Jose, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, and surrounding areas). We don’t normally service some farther cities, but there are times that we do (for example, Gilroy or parts of Tracy) depending on crew availability and the scope of work. We currently do not service San Francisco or Petaluma.
Fastest way to check: send us your full address or ZIP code and what you need done, and we’ll check with our team right away. If we can see the property clearly on Google Earth/Maps, we can provide an estimate in about 5–10 minutes. If not, we’ll send someone out for a free on‑site inspection and estimate.
Yes—it’s a free estimate. You don’t need to pay anything for the estimate or the inspection.
We do estimates two ways:
- You can send us a couple of photos, and we’ll check your property on Google Earth/Google Maps and provide an estimate from there.
- If needed, we’ll schedule a free on‑site inspection. Most estimates are sent the same day. There’s no contract involved, and no down payment or advance payment is required. The only time you pay us is once you book with us and the job is done and you’re satisfied—no additional charge for the estimate visit.
Both options work the same way for getting you a price; it really comes down to what’s more convenient for you. We offer two free ways to get an estimate:
- On-site inspection (free): Someone comes out, assesses everything in person, and provides an estimate on-site. This is great if you have multiple areas, access questions, or you’re not sure exactly what needs to be done.
- Photos + Google Earth/Maps (free): Send a few photos—one close-up that shows the condition and one wide shot of the whole area to be cleaned. We combine those with Google Earth/Google Map to size the job and give you a quick estimate. This is handy if you’re not available for an inspection.
If the photos don’t provide enough information for us to be confident, we’ll let you know and schedule a free inspection so the estimate is accurate.
We’ll text you to confirm any inspection and send another message when we’re on the way. After we prepare your estimate, we’ll give you a quick call to review it and answer any questions you may have.
No. You don’t have to be home for the inspection. As long as you give us permission to go around the property, we can walk the exterior (including the backyard) and gather everything we need.
We’ll send you an inspection confirmation to let you know the arrival window, and we’ll text you again when our team is on the way. Once the inspection is complete, we’ll send you our estimate and follow up if you have any questions.
If you won’t be home, please:
- Make sure gates are unlocked or share access codes
- Secure pets and note any areas you want us to focus on
- Let us know about any access restrictions (HOA, alarms, locked areas)
We don’t need to enter your home for exterior inspections; if interior access is ever required, we’ll schedule a time that works for you.
Yes, we offer solar panel cleaning services.
- How we clean: We use deionized water and a water‑fed pole with a soft‑bristle, non‑abrasive brush to remove surface‑level debris and avoid any damage. No harsh chemicals, and it’s the same pure‑water method used for glass cleaning.
- Estimates: Free. We typically quote using Google Earth/Maps; if we can’t see enough, we’ll schedule a free on‑site inspection.
- Pricing: Varies by panel count, access, and height. We have a $350 minimum to send out a crew. As a reference, cleaning around 21 regular‑size panels is usually $350–$390.
- Timing: Most jobs take 1–3 hours depending on the number of panels. Morning appointments are available.
- Safety/coverage: We’re insured. We work from ladders or the roof as access allows, and our extension poles reach hard‑to‑access arrays.
- Booking: Call us or request an estimate online, we’ll text or email you the quote link. No advance payment is required; you’ll receive an invoice once the job is completed.
No, we don’t offer roof power washing. We don’t recommend pressure washing roofs because it might damage your roof (shingles/tiles, flashing, and sealants). We do provide roof debris removal (hand/blower removal of leaves, needles, and loose debris). If you need a full roof cleaning or moss treatment, we can refer you to a trusted partner that specializes in roof cleaning. Reach out, and we’ll connect you. Not sure what you need? Contact us, and we’ll be happy to take a look and provide advice.
Yes. We offer exterior-only window cleaning. This includes the exterior glass, frames, screens, and window sills—second‑story windows and front‑door/garage panes are included too. We use deionized water for a spot‑free finish. We don’t do any interior window cleaning.
Pricing is based on the total number of windows in the property. We can usually provide a remote estimate using Google Earth/Maps or schedule a quick, free on‑site inspection. Most jobs take about 2–3 hours with a two‑person crew.
Short answer: it shouldn’t. We actually do pressure washing (power washing), but we can adjust the pressure of the equipment that we use so that we won’t be damaging the area. On delicate surfaces and around doors and windows—especially on older, all‑wood homes—our techs dial the pressure down or use a soft‑wash approach. If there’s a gap or any place where water could get in, we adjust the pressure accordingly on the specific area to avoid forcing water inside.
Before any exterior house wash, we do a quick on‑site inspection so we can see the condition of the surfaces and choose the right method. If you know of any leaks, loose paint, or problem spots, just point them out during the inspection and we’ll take extra care.
We use soft washing on exterior surfaces when we want to avoid chipping paint or damaging anything. We reduce the pressure and use our water-fed poles (the same equipment used on windows), along with brushes and sponges where necessary.
We don’t usually use any chemicals. If there are stains that need to be removed, we typically use a light bleach solution. We will check in with you first to ensure it’s okay, especially if you have pets or sensitive plants.
Every property is a little different. To be exactly sure about what will yield the best result, we can send someone for a free inspection—totally free, with no contract. We’ll walk the property with you, check the areas you want cleaned, and walk you through our process.
Yes. We stand behind our work and we’re fully insured. If something isn’t right or there’s an issue caused by our service, let us know and we’ll make it right.
For peace of mind, we can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI). Our insurance agent typically needs 1–2 business days to generate it. We can list your organization as the certificate holder and include the property address/city as requested. If you have specific wording or endorsements required, please send over your COI requirements and we’ll coordinate with our broker. For commercial clients, we can also register in your vendor portal and upload whatever licenses and insurances you need.
We also work to prevent issues in the first place—for example, we clean solar panels using deionized water and gentle methods to avoid damage.
If you need a COI or have paperwork requirements, email them along with your request and we’ll get it taken care of.
Great question. Here’s how we explain it:
- Normal washing: A light rinse or hand cleaning (low pressure). Suitable for dust and light dirt, but it won’t remove deep stains, mildew, or built‑up grime.
- Pressure washing vs. power washing: Honestly, there’s no difference for us, it’s just wording. We use the same professional equipment and process.
If you’re unsure about what you need, we can send someone out for a complimentary inspection, and advise you on the best approach for your surfaces.
Most driveways should be power-washed once a year or once every eighteen months. If your driveway experiences heavy traffic, stays shaded or damp, or tends to accumulate algae, pollen, or oil stains, plan on scheduling it a bit sooner. Lower-traffic or recently sealed driveways can usually wait closer to the 18‑month mark. Not sure what’s right for you? We’re happy to take a quick look and recommend a schedule for your property.
No, our standard power washing does not include a chemical treatment. We typically clean with hot water (and mild soap if needed), which handles most dirt and debris. If you’re dealing with mold/mildew, oil, rust, or other stubborn stains, we can add a bleach/mildew solution or other specialty cleaners upon request, provided you approve. We’ll discuss it with you first (based on photos or during an inspection) and only proceed if you’re comfortable; we also take care around landscaping and ask that pets be kept away until the area is rinsed and dry. If a chemical treatment is recommended, it’s optional and may appear as a separate line item on your estimate.
